Usain Bolt saddened by his first coach Pablo McNeil’s passing

Usain Bolt first coach passed away
Usain Bolt record holder was sad to find out that his first high school coach Pablo McNeil’s passed away at the age of 71 from a long term illness in the Falmouth hospital. Pablo McNeil was himself a former sprinter and helped Usain Bolt early in his career. Usain Bolt was coached by Pablo McNeil to win a World Junioir title at the age of 15 and wished him good luck as he joined Jamaica’s High Performance Training Centre in Kingston. Bolt who is currently in Europe expressed his condolences in a release:
“I am saddened by the passing of one of my first coaches in high school, Pablo McNeil. Coach McNeil was a part of my early track and field life. I appreciate all he sought to pass on to me. I would like to offer my condolences and sympathies to his family and close friends.”
Usain Bolts coach at the moment is Glen Mills who has coached Bolt to several world records and gold medals.
