Back injury ends Usain Bolt’s 2010 season

Usain Bolt has sadly ended his 2010 season due to backproblems. A tightness in his lower backs restricts the world chamption’s ability to perform a good stride and racing in this condition could lead to further injury. Usain bolt ending his season early means that he will miss IAAF Diamond League track, Weltklasse Zurich on August 19 and Memorial van Damme in Brussles on August 27.

Bolt was examined on Monday by a Munich doctor who found a problem with his back “It is better for me not to take any risks this year,” Bolt said, according to Ricky Simms, the runners manager. I would like to thank everyone for their support and look forward to coming back stronger next year,” said Bolt.
