This year the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) World Championships will be held in Daegu, Korea from 27 August to 4 September. The tickets for 2011 IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011 are already on Sale and may be purchased through the IAAF website. Be quick to buy your tickets as you can benefit from attractive discounts if you purchase them early. Tickets bought before 31 March 2010 will have a price reduction of 10 percent and an attractive and exclusive 4-day, 3-night tour package for two to Daegu will be offered by the Local Organising Committee (LOC). This package includes roundtrip air tickets and accommodation and can be bought on eBay where ticket auctions will start from as low as USD 9.58. This is your chance to see Usain Bolt beat another world record!
The Athletics World Championships Daegu opening ceremony will be held on 27 August 2011 between 19:00 – 20:00. The prices vary according to the type of seat but range between KRW 20,000 (around USD 20) for the seats on the upper levels and KRW 150, 000 ( around USD 150 ) for the premier seats closest to the finish line where we hope that Usain Bolt will win another gold medal.
For more details, a Category A and B seats (not premium) on other days than the opening ceremony will cost between KRW 10.000 – KRW 20,000 for the morning races and the double foe the evening races. The evening tickets are divided into Premier F tickets which are the seats closest to the finish line and the Premier S tickets which are seats closer to the start line. According to IAAF the “premier seats guarantee optimum view of the excitement at the Start and Finish lines, as well as the option of hospitality services in comfortable lounges” .
However, not only half day tickets are available but full day tickets as well. The price ranges between KRW 25,000 and KRW 125,000 again excluding the Opening Ceremony and days without morning sessions. Tickets for the full 9-day competition period can be purchased at a cost between KRW 200,000 and KRW 850,000.
If more than four premium tickets will be purchased together parking tickets will be issued free of charge.

Usain Bolt, Jamaica’s Olympic and World Champion superstar completed his first training session last Monday with a smile on his lips. Back to training and finished his training session Usain Bolt enjoys a chat to his coach Glen Mills who is guiding him and supporting him during his back injury recovery. Usain Bolt finished his first training session at the eight-lane 400m track at the UWI Bowl in Kingston, Jamaica. It was not only our Bolt who began his training but also the rest of of the Mill’s Racers Track Club athletes as the track and field programme for 2011 opened yesterday.

The Jamaican Usain Bolt will start training again on Monday if the weather permits, according to AFP. He will start his training again to get back in shape after he ended his 2010 season early due to back injury to be able to defend his title as a world record holder.
Usain Bolt’s head track coach, Glenn Mills, confirmed on Saturday that Bolt is now ready to start training again with his Racers Track Club teammates “Yes we will start training on Monday, weather permitting” he said.
The club where Usain Bolt trains is based in Kingston Jamaica on the grounds of the University of the West Indies in Mona. This is against Bolt since the weather forecast is predict rain for Monday and when Mills was questioned on alternative places for training he said “outdoors is the only place we have to train so if it rains we won’t be able to start and we will just have to wait until the weather clears up.” 13 people were reported dead by the rains from the tropical storms in Jamaica where Usain Bolt is at the moment.
